Aphasia Camp Northwest Adventure Weekend is an opportunity for aphasia survivors and their care partners to learn, try, and experience new things at the beautiful Oregon coast. This is a time for attendees to bond through adventures, and grow together during activities that are not part of the everyday norm -- A weekend designed to help you step out of your comfort zone with safe, supported activities, to explore your goals, and experience adventure again. Facilitated communication in natural settings, socializing, and trying or re-experiencing recreational interests are at the core of this program.

We are pleased to announce that this year, the Aphasia Network will be accepting visiting SLP, OT and PT students to participate in Aphasia Camp Northwest Adventure Weekend. This event will be held Thursday August 22nd - Sunday August 26th at Camp MaGruder in Rockaway Beach, Oregon.
